These past two days I put a limit order in TradingView using the long and short tool. I set a take profit and sell stop for both of them. Once my entry begins I get a notification on my phone saying something along the lines of “sell stop cancelled” I instantly am bomarded with multiple notification and on trading view. my tp and sl disappear.
because of this two days ago I lost 400 usd instead of my usually two hundred because price dumped past sl and kept going down until I manually closed the position.And yesterday luckily I didn’t loose money but I was scrambling to recreate my usual take profit and stop loss manually on trading view. As I my tp and sl were cancelled.
For reference I only have one other limit order set, I am on a my funded futures core 50k acc. I am on the sim funded stage. Trodeovate is my broker but I place trades from trading view because it’s easy.
