The “cancel” functionality has been updated to turn off the auto-renewal for all market data subscriptions. So, if it is turned off, no renewals will be made for April.

To handle the scenario you’re describing:

  1. If you need to add the new subscription immediately, simply go into “Would you like to subscribe to Market Data? Click here” and add the one you would like.
  2. After paying for the new subscription, turn the auto-renew to “Off”.
  3. On April 1, when you login, you will simply need to purchase the 2 subscriptions you would like to continue to use. They will automatically renew for the coming month

You are not being thick, Tradovate made it as difficult as possible to change a subscription. I wanted only market data , now i am stuck with 2 subscriptions!

you are right i m thinking about not using tradeovate anymore. we as the users/traders want simplicity when i accidentally purchase two data sources it doesnt provide a simple way showing a cancel renewal button is not solving the issues what if the users just wanted to cancel one of it, second thing is two different data sources you are not even notify users. how sad this could be

If no one has noticed tradovate has just about completely abandoned its platform. Last update was almost 2 years ago. The last time anyone from company (Brian Weiss and Alex) have been in this forum was since Ninja bought them out. Weiss got a promotion, but no one has taken his place. Whenever I’ve told anyone from support about an issue, they deny knowing of any “widespread problems, so I point them to the forum here and ask if they even know the forum exists. Then….they disappear as they have no answer to that. Try it next time you haven an issue.
Seems Tradovate business model was to acquire enough clients…to sell them out to another larger broker. Too bad because there were some excellent coders here in the beginning…they’ve all since moved on once the platform was abandoned.
I’ve since moved on, as well, to another broker for my main platform and only keep a small amount here because I’m “grandfathered” because I understand they now charge for orderflow :flushed: which doesn’t even work well :flushed: anymore. Bid ask candle (footprint) have to be so scrolled in on you can only see a few at a time.
I should use this as a copy paste to anyone who posts and doesn’t get a response.

thanks for the info, i think im going to try ninja next time, and yes all tradeovate want is users only but they cnat maintain the platform well
