I hope everyone is doing well.
I’m looking for someone who knows how to develop custom indicators for Tradovate. I’d like to contribute something useful to the community, but unfortunately I don’t know how to code.
Using AI, I created an indicator for NinjaTrader that has been working extremely well. It is based on the daily settlement price. The indicator plots a reference line at the settlement price and automatically draws configurable percentage levels above and below it.
For example, the levels can be set at 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%, and so on, up to 10%. These levels have been very useful as reference points for stop placement, trade management, and identifying areas where the market may react.
From my experience, when the price reaches one of these percentage levels, it often produces at least a small reaction or temporary reversal. While no indicator can predict the market with certainty, these levels have proven to be very useful in my trading.
I tried several times to recreate this indicator for Tradovate using AI, but I couldn’t get a working version.
Would anyone be interested in helping develop this indicator for Tradovate? I believe it could be a valuable tool for many traders, and I would be happy to share the complete logic behind how the NinjaTrader version works.
