Placing Two Stop Orders at Once w/ API

I am trying to place two stop orders at once: a buy stop and sell stop. Manually I can place the two at once but using API, I am not allowed for some reason.

Any solution out there?

If not, could you share the error/result message you were getting when you tried to place those orders?
