I am working on API connection to for python trading bot. Most of it seems to be connecting well. I have a CME contract that is active. The trading symbol is found and contract returned. Yet, when historical data is requested it cannot find the symbol??? I give. I need help as my knowledge is limited and I need to get trading? Can someone get my API connection running? I will pay. Thank you for any response and fee estimate.
seems a LLM is doing the work, can you share your code without secret keys. I am wondering how the retrieval is working. Using LLMS a lot my self having developer background my self, can figure out the mistakes. No promises BTW, no pay needed 
I think you are trying to request the continuous symbol which is not present in a DEMO account on tradovate (or even with any account), best to retrieve that data from yfinance
