I have seen numerous conversations, but couldn’t find anything that looked like it was current for May of 2024.
Am i to understand that we, as API developers, cannot get ANY market data subscriptions without paying $290 to the CME? I honestly can’t believe anyone would pay that high of a fee… especially while in development mode. It’s bad enough we’re paying $25 a month to Tradovate, plus data fee of $14 a month to CME et all…
Is there no other way to get real time streaming info about open positions for an application?
Looking for something here to keep me developing on Tradovate.

We have the same problem. Find a CME depth of market DOM supplier at a reasonable price for a BOT development phase.
Unless I am mistaken, I understand that the cost of a subscription is linked to the level of rounding of contracts in the DOM.
Those of Tradovate are 1 contract precision. For my trading algorithm which will only work on markets with volumes > 50 or even 100, rounding up to 10 contracts would be more than enough for me.
I’m looking for an API provider on the CME with a rounding level of around 10. Range into 5 or 20 (No more) would be suitable.
On the offer sites the type of service is confused, it is very poorly explained. You cannot take out a subscription without knowing what you are buying.
The 1st who is aware of an interesting CME DOM API offer less precise than unit contracts, interests me.
