It would be good to add a manual lockout to the platform to liquidate and prevent new trades for the session.
Similar to TopstepX platform.
It helps to shutdown for the day when in between max drawdown and max profit, we can just press the button and instantly switch off.
It should also be possible to lock the risk rules for the day, so that they cant be changed until the next session.
This would win a lot of point from me and many other retail traders.
It’s crazy they don’t already have this manual lockout feature, it would be the easiest addition
Yes I have found it a really great feature in TopstepX/ProjectX and aswell I believe it would be easy as the automatic DLL and Profit lockout is there already in Tradovate. A manual button would be great!
Very simple and has been requested for years now. Can’t Imagine the hold up out side of them wanting over trading…but then if someone blows up they don’t trade at all.

a one-click manual lockout with forced flatten with locked risk rules would be huge for discipline and avoiding tilt.
I’m waiting for the day they finally add this feature.
It’s March 4th now, and still nothing is available on the platforms. They even posted it themselves on their official X account, saying everything was supposed to be out in February 2026. They’d have been better off saying nothing at all, because now we’re just waiting for nothing.
They likely have a deal with props to not implement that feature on the demo. They don’t want traders to build systems and guardrails help with consistency and profitability. Real prop firms and trade desks employ risk managers. Many pros say they wouldn’t have survived long enough to build good habits without that guardrail.
The wait is over, they now have the “Manual lockout” feature. Just saw it pop up this morning
