Tradovate should implement a personal lockout mode that prevents you from placing any trades for any chosen period of time, not just when you risk or profit off a certain amount of capital after placing a position. TopstepX’s platform has this feature and it has made my performance more consistent and aided in improving my discipline as someone who can be prone to revenge trading after tanking a loss. It is also easy to get tempted when I see solid-looking setups in different time zones that do not give me the best results, like the Asian or London sessions. This feature would make it very convenient for traders to fully process their emotions and recover after a trade.
