You are not supposed to count the single prints for the TPO counts above/below the fairest price (POC). This is well explained in Dalton’s book (on page 42). The TPO counts are meant to assess the balance of inventory between the other timeframe and the locals during the pit session within developing value. Since singles are rejected prices, they are by definition not in value. This miscalculation is naturally much more extreme when there is a daily imbalance resulting in significant single print counts.
