Curious, is there more friction when getting filled when trading live vs the demo acct? small orders, like 1 or 2 contracts
not sure what’ you mean by friction. the more contracts the higher level of slippage. from my experience demo pretty closely mirrors live… since the data streaming is the same (if paid for)
fills in any demo are always questionable though. You need a real person to take the other side of your trade.
liquidity of the instrument matters too. but for small 1-2 lot orders… it’s insignificant… i’m rather baffled your concerned about the diff between both… they’re really darned near identical. Tradovate is a real broker not a bucketshop giving fake quotes.
