In the Code Explorer I create a new file, Test. Tradovate populates it with a moving average. I go to a chart and I have no problem finding the Test indicator and displaying the moving average.
Now I go back to the Code Explorer. I erase the default moving average code. I pick another indicator from the list of built in indicators, and I copy iy over 100% to Test, using ctrl-c and ctrl-v.
I save the file. I refresh the chart window. The indicator Test does not appear when I search for it. There should be nothing wrong with the code because it is literally the code for a built-in indicator. I feel like I must be missing something really basic… anyone have any ideas?
