I have been using tradovate for over a year now and have seen gradual improvements to the software over that time.
One area that I would like to see improve would be the ability to control the margin at the top and bottom of the actual trading charts. I have been able to do this in Tradingview and I know other traders using Ninja trader and they can pre set to size of chart margin at the top and bottom that the chart uses.
This would be great to help control how the charts look and remove some of the perceived volatility in the candles when I use continuous auto fit on my charts.
