I’m raising this topic because a huge part of the community has been asking for proper bracket order support inside TradingView when connected to Tradovate — and it’s becoming a real limitation.
As a funded futures trader (Tradeify), I can say this first-hand:
Many of us rely on TradingView for charting and execution because the Tradovate platform isn’t always the most efficient or comfortable for active intraday traders.
But without native bracket orders (TP + SL automatically placed), it slows us down, creates unnecessary risk, and makes it harder to trade professionally.
Competitors like TradeStation, NinjaTrader, etc. already support this, so it’s not impossible — it just requires Tradovate to update / rewrite the API coding that allows TradingView to send bracket orders directly.
