Please, please, please, and I speak for everyone that uses tradovate on tradingview, allow us to use draggable SL and TP levels on market orders that have already been placed. this feature is only allowed for limit orders and stop orders for some reason, but not market orders. this feature is available on other platforms, and it is crucial for my, and many other’s strategy. This feature is literally available with tradingview’s paper trading for Pete’s sake. But not tradovate? c’mon guys we need this. should be a very easy implementation.

Why is this feature not allowed via Tradovate when using TradingView? Technical? Business?
It would be much easier workflow just to use TradingView to execute and manage the trades, instead of having to us another platform like NT.

Seriously. This is freakin’ ridiculous! Even the order presets have been DISABLED! You can see the “add level” is available on the paper trading account but for no reason whatsoever, it’s missing/disabled for the tradovate accounts.

I would absolutely love to see this feature added. It would save me a lot of frustration. If you log into paper trading on TradingView you can see how the feature should work. You open a market position quickly then you can still place a stop and take profit from the position by draggin TP and SL to where you want them. Just last night I had to go to sleep while in a position like this, but because this feature isn’t available I had to place non-OCO sell stops for TP and SL. When I woke up my TP was hit at Asia High but then price reversed to Asia Low and hit the stop loss that was still there and blew the account because it shorted and price went back up.
paper trading already supports it not having post-entry brackets / OCO on tradovate is a big usability gap and a real risk issue.
Yes, we need it. The request traces back many years. Here, on reddit. Probably in many other places. The feature is helpful. It exists on every broker I know.
