Trying to make sense of tick data

I am looking at a tick chart and using a custom indicator to display the remaining ticks in the bar. I am also looking at the T&S “widget” that streams each tick (or so I thought). When paying close attention it is clear that each row in the T&S widget (which I thought would be a trade/tick) does not match the reduction in the remaining tick count. It doesn’t quite match the volume either.

So I am wondering what is going on, it doesn’t seem that the tick charts count actual ticks/trades?

Or am I missing something?

yeah tick charts can get kinda weird — the T&S widget shows individual trades but tick charts group them based on data from the feed sometimes multiple small trades get bundled into one tick which can mess with the count also some platforms use different ways of building tick charts so it won’t always match perfectly hope that clears it up a bit
