Hi there, I have a question for the knowledgeable users. I looked through tutorial vids, application settings and custom indicators but can’t see this functionality… can I trigger a stop based on the bid, ask or spread midpoint without waiting for a new last traded price to print? For example this would be helpful in liquid but less consistently traded contracts such as NK, MBT etc
Great question, Ben! Triggering a stop based on the bid, ask, or spread midpoint would indeed be useful, especially for less liquid contracts. From what I’ve seen, this functionality isn’t available directly within the platform. However, you might be able to set something similar up with custom indicators or automation tools. It would be great if Tradovate could add this feature in the future for more flexibility in trading. if u want to automate trade pickmytrade connects tradingview to rithmic and tradovate for seamless futures trading
