Functions included in version 1.211015.0

  • Updated: Application Settings. As we have continued to build new functionality into Tradovate, we have reached some limitations in our “Application Settings” area. In an effort to simplify managing your account, subscriptions and trader setup, we have redesigned the Application Settings area to make tasks easier to find and execute. You can view a set of FAQs on how to use the new settings area HERE

  • Added: DOM. Additional columns have been made available in the DOM which can be enabled in the settings area to show Pulling and Stacking on the Bid and Ask

  • Keyboard support improvements

    • Added: Trader. Spotlight search. A “Spotlight-like” search function has been introduced. Pressing ALT+S (Windows) or OPTION+S (Mac) will open a search box that will return relevant results from Tradovate for your search term. Searching on text strings will return results from:
      • Quote Information
      • Hotkey actions
      • Non-Hotkey actions (configuring an indicator, settings modal actions, etc)
      • Look up and jump to interactive walk-thrus
      • Look up and jump to FAQs
      • Look up and jump to Tradovate Community topics
      • Look up and jump to indicators, workspaces, and themes shared in the community share
      • Look up and jump to reports
      • …More to come
    • Added: Trader. Keyboard-friendlier symbol lookups. Now you can use the arrow keys to navigate lists and grids in Tradovate
    • Updated: Hotkeys. We’ve done some refactoring to the hotkeys and included even more assignable actions in the hotkey configuration area. We’ve also updated the hotkey functionality to trigger hotkey actions on “key down” events

  • Custom Indicators

    • Added: Custom Indicators. To support partners’ requests we’ve introduced support for email entitlements for custom indicators. Using the entitlement system, partners can now control access to who can view/use their proprietary indicators on the Tradovate platform.
    • Added: Custom Indicators. We’ve introduced Custom Drawing Tools. Like the Custom Indicators, users can now create and share drawing tools. Cant find a drawing tool in Tradovate that is important to how you trade? Simply create it using the Code editor. Want to allow other users to have access to this tool? Share it with the community.   • Charting

    • Updated: Charts. Enabled “Continuously Autofit” function on the chart viewable in Quotes Details
    • Updated: Charts. Allow canceling/modifying group account orders in charts

  • Bugfixes

To enable this feature. In the DOM, Click on the Settings > Show Pulling / Stacking

When enabled, additional Bid P/S and Ask P/S columns will show on the DOM showing the delta values in Bid and Ask since the inside Bid or Ask last changed

To utilize this new feature, in the trader simply press ATL+S (Windows) or Option+S (Mac) and a search box will open. You can drag the searchbox to any location inside your workspace

Typing in the searchbox will suggest a list of options including:

  • Quote Information
  • Hotkey actions
  • Non-Hotkey actions (configuring an indicator, settings modal actions, etc)
  • Look up and jump to interactive walk-thrus

Actions will also show the corresponding Module in the workspace they will apply to
