On Tradovate Desktop when adjusting price for a limit order at the ‘order ticket’ module and pressing the ‘enter’ button on my keyboard, the order will directly be executed at market price. When clicking ‘send’ it’s executed correctly as a limit order.
With IBKR I always needed to press the enter button after adjusting price. After doing it this way for years, it will cost me a lot if need to unlearn it…
