New to Tradovate. I’ve been doing test trades on Demo to verify how much margin is going to be required for one contract of MES during what should be intraday margin times of day. I’ve done about fifty test trades and each one comes up requiring initial margin which comes to about $2,500. The intraday requirement should be about $50. I have done no live account trades. Why can I not get the lower intraday margin amount?
demo uses full initial margin, not intraday margin.the $50 intraday rate only applies to live funded accounts during RTH
