How to retrieve available Symbols?

For a simply check what symbols are available through the Tradovate API I could not find the correct endpoint.
It seems that the contracts category is the right place - and that there should be an undocumented endpoint: /contract/list

Now an alternative could be to monkey around with various calls to /contract/find
However that is not right.
What is the right way to get a list of all available Symbols/Assets/Contracts?

there’s no public “list all symbols” endpoint.
tradovate expects you to use /contract/find with filters (exchange, symbol, product type) and cache results.
/contract/list exists but is undocumented and not recommended.
