How do I place a sell order for a specific contract purchased earlier in the API? For example, if I purchased 5 contracts on Day 1, and then on Day 2 I purchased another 5 contracts how do i put a sell order on just the first 5 contracts I purchased on Day 1?
Unless you place a bracket order upfront to link them together, you can just sell 5 contracts to change your total open contracts. You can track it internally any way you like, but ultimately the system tracks long/short order count only.
