I am building a python app that will rely on live market data from tradovate. I see that a CME sub vendor registration is required to get the market data over websocket. How do I apply for this license? I already have Market data Level 1 subscription with my account. What more do I need to do to get the market data over websockets in the API?
As you can see, they are totally absent from the Scene. I am looking for another broker right now.
I agree. A cursory response from them would’ve been nice.
I am looking at databento, but it looks too expensive.

You have to contact CME and pay them $450/mo and sign an ILS agreement.
The better solution is to use DataBento and get the same for less than $40/mo
yeah getting market data over websocket from cme does need that sub vendor agreement and it’s pricey like frik said databento’s a cheaper option if you just need live data also if you ever need help with tradovate setups or custom indicators feel free to write back or dm me i’ll see if i can help
