Custom Indicator developer wanted

I want to hire a Javascript coder who is Tradovate savvy to perfect my custom indicator and get it to show up in my available indicators list or publish it in the community indicators so I may install it from there.

This indicator plots the RSI midline cross on the main chart. A marker is below the candle when the RSI crosses midline up, and a marker is above the candle when it crosses midline down. This is a working study in TradeStation and Trading View.

Referencing PineScript and EasyLanguage, Chatgpt wrote the Javascript code for Tradovate. The code editor shows no Javascript errors. I saved the study, but it doesn’t appear in my available indicators. I was told that I needed API to create custom studies, so I subscribed and generated a key. The problem now is I don’t know where to begin or even how to use API.

@tikidave is the man for the job

Thanks, Frik. I’m from the ancient Days generation and have zero experience with social media and chat rooms. How may I message @tikidave?

@SkimTheCream, you’ll be happy to know what you want exists in my Tikitrade Tools library, so no need to hire a coder!

Our RSI comes with signals that can be drawn on overbought/oversold levels, average and mid line crossovers. It can also draw divergences from price!

Tikitrade is a low cost subscription service that grants you access to our library with over 100 indicators for Tradovate, and importantly my services to update them with ideas from members.

Hope you’ll check out our free trial and let me know what you think!

I’ll do that. You almost have what I want.

It helps me to have the up and down markers charted on the main chart above and below the corresponding candles, but I can work with the signals in the lower study. However, that lower study would need the RsiAverage, so I don’t clutter up my screen with redundant lower studies.

In TradeStation, I modified the Rsi to include the midline cross and RsiAverage. I traded better when I began plotting the midline cross on my main chart. The signals appearing where my attention is focused help me. It also made it easier to compare my trading chart timeframe with my anchor chart timeframe to confirm they were in sync. The RsiAverage acts as a cycle, trend direction, and squeeze indicator all in one.

Tiki Dave, it is all good. I installed your RSI, and yes, it has everything I need. I also installed the scalper, which gives awesome signals without so much noise. Thanks for making trading easy. RS
