Number of Contracts should be equal to (# of Winning Contracts + # of Losing Contracts + # of Breakeven Contracts). Both # of Winning Contracts and # Losing Contracts only indicate 1 side of the trade, and breakeven trades are missing, so the numbers don’t tally. Traders need to be able to reconcile the numbers. Perhaps add a 4th column called Breakeven Trades, and have contracts total to both sides so that they add across.
