I have been away from Tradovate for a year or so.
I logged in and was reviewing the Bid-Ask volume chart option, but it shows as blank on the screen.
I see indicators such as SMAs, BB, etc. but the chart does not show the footprint/volume candles at all.
I don’t currently have a subscription to live data. Could this be the issue?
Did you ever figure this one out? I am in the same boat and have come to the same conclusion, but am not quite ready to pay for the subscription to live data.
For viewing bid-ask volume data, you can refer to the Bid-Ask Histogram indicator available in the community indicators. This should help you visualize the distribution of bid and ask volumes more effectively. There are also other indicators you can explore that might fit your needs.
