Hello and wishing everyone a happy new year.
I am not a developer but just need a few things clarified before proceeding with hiring one.
I use Tradovate for point and click trading (via DOM). I would also like to be able to trade funds in my Interactive Broker’s account; with a future extension of adding yet another broker where I have another set of funds available.
So my questions really just boil down to:
- Can Tradovate’s API be used to achieve this? From my limited understanding, this can be done but I just want to be sure. I would still like to execute all trades via the DOM regardless of which brokerage account the trade is going into.
- Is there some sort of test environment available where I can continue to do my day to day trading while the developer codes up the aforementioned? How is this test environment accessed?
