# Time zone functionality

It would be great to select New York as a time zone rather than having to change my PC’s clock while trading. Thank you.

I was looking how to change the time zone to Eastern and did not realize you could not do that. It would be helpful to have that feature

Why is it set to Chicago time? I’m trading in New York, I need NY time.

Wow! I can’t believe you can’t change the time zone to EST!! Please fix this! (I just downloaded the platform to try it out - it’s one of the first things I tried to do.)

the fact that we can’t set it to Eastern timezone is excessively primitive

If it’s a dedicated trading computer then set up the clock locally to NY time. Set your computer clock to NY then select Local Time rather than Chicago Time in the Preferences\>Notifications tab.

its unbelieveble that a trading software doesnt let you select the timezone of the main market in the world…  
I dont want to change my pc time, i want to be able to select the time zone like any other app…
