# Retrieving Data for custom indicators from Tradovate

I am in the process of building a custom indicator on Tradovate. Then I want to run the indicator on my chart and retrieve the data that it produces. I wanted to know if there is any way to retrieve/export data for custom indicators from Tradovate either via API or some other method and move the data to a CSV or text file?
