# "Open PnL" in points, not dollars, as an available column in position module

It would help successful traders scale up if the positions module had an available column for pnl in points not dollars.

Currently, the positions module has a column named “OPEN P/L”, however its output is the same as “OPEN P/L $”. Maybe this was meant to be the open P/L in points, not dollars, and wasn’t finished.

I’d like OPEN P/L to be the difference between last price and average cost, such that the points based OPEN P/L is agnostic to position size. This would let traders look at point delta, not $ delta, and could help with scaling up.
