# Group trading using ATM feature

hey guys sorry if this is a stupid question im pretty new to this i have 2 apex eval accounts i want to group trade is it true that i cant use the ATM feature so when i open a buy r sell my tp and sl will already be set to say 2:1 in the atm feature for both accounts or do i have to do it manually once the trades are opened or use another way like ninja trader

yeah for apex on tradovate, groups wont attach ATM brackets when you fire the entry. common gotcha. entry can copy across the group but the stop/target usually doesnt ride along as a real ATM — people either click SL/TP on the chart/DOM after fill (that often replicates) or they run something outside groups for brackets. if youre stacking evals, treat “groups alone” as not a full risk solution until youve watched one live fill and confirmed stops actually landed on every account.
