I’m having a weird issue when viewing the Gold E-mini (QO) charts via Tradovate since I joined a year ago. It’s hard to explain other than than the candles look to be complete and the chart is full of wild gaps and spaces between candles on timeframes below the 1HR timeframe. The odd thing is that I do not have this issue when viewing the Gold E-Micro chart (MGC) nor any other chart (I also trade the ES and NQ). Lately i’ve had to trade on the Gold Micro chart but that doesn’t bring the return on money like the Gold E-Mini does. Am I seriously the only user experiencing this issue? Can someone - anyone - help at all? ---

I have the same problem? Just like gaps and dots etc no candles or when they do show up they aren’t normal. Did you get a fix? ---

Same here too. Other charts seem to be ok and display properly. You cannot trade this chart as is. I would post my chart but it looks exactly like the first poster. Gold is something that I really like to trade too besides just indices. This is a shame. Doesn’t seem like there’s any real interest to having it fixed I see. Is anyone else having trouble contacting support? The first time I tried it was fantastic, got through almost right away and in 2 minutes, got my solution. Ever since I get nothing but a message that they are not available. This too is a shame because sometimes all you need is just a quick question answered and you can get on with your trading day BEFORE the opportunity passes you by. Rather frustrating to say the least, especially for someone NEW to the Tradovate platform… ---

Did you figure out what went wrong? A new user to Tradovate and if I cannot find a solution, guess I’ll try other platforms. ---

if your gold e-mini (qo) chart on tradovate shows gaps and incomplete candles on timeframes below 1-hour, but other charts (like gold micro or es/nq) display correctly, try these fixes: check if data settings for qo can be adjusted, verify chart settings (time zone, aggregation, data depth), and clear tradovate’s cache or reinstall. if issues persist, contact tradovate support with screenshots, as it may be a specific data feed bug. for now, trading on the gold micro chart (mgc) could be an option. also, consider using pickmytrade if you’re looking for automated trading options and support ---

i switched to heikin ashi style candles… that resolved the issue somewhat ---

If you click the view settings icon in the top right click the roll forward button and that should fix it.
