# Change FIFO to LIFO, at least give us choice!

It would be great to be able to change the current default FIFO to LIFO.

My understanding is that FIFO is a requirement for futures trading in the US. Unless something changes in the regulations, you won’t be able to do LIFO with a US based firm.
